What’s Your Favorite Way to Sort Your Photos?

It’s easy to sort files by filename. Most file managers and photo galleries support this type of sorting. But what type of sorting do you really want when searching or viewing photos? I like photos to be sorted by date taken. Sometimes I sort them by distance to find photos nearby. Filenames are not really important for me. There are more possibilities of sorting like file size, file type, last modified time, and so on. What type of sorting do you prefer?
